Vanessa Forbes

Lives and works in Southern Highlands, NSW, Aus
Vanessa Forbes is a contemporary artist and art teacher who lives in the Southern Highlands of NSW. Having completed both Graduate and Post Graduate studies in Visual Arts, Vanessa has exhibited in numerous exhibitions and has also worked as an illustrator for both books and commercial packaging. She has also an extensive teaching background at both University and High Schools. These include the University of Western Sydney and the International School of Colour and Design and private secondary schools both in Sydney and the Southern Highlands.
Her work focuses is on the transitory nature of time. The enigma of what the world is made of has always fascinated her. Is it frequency and light that creates our reality? These are the questions that inform her practice and her thoughts.
